Overview
Research Associate - Clinical Trials Methodology and Health Equity - School of Nursing & Midwery, 011344. Applications are invited for a full-time fixed-term position with the EDICT MSCA-DN (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network), based in the Centre for Health Research Methodology, University of Galway, Ireland. This position focuses on advancing equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in clinical trials through innovative methodological research. The position is available 1 December 2025 to 28 February 2030.
The successful candidate will conduct research examining the psychosocial determinants of clinical trial participation, develop methodological frameworks to enhance trial inclusivity, and coordinate activities across this European initiative. They will work with international partners, patient organisations, and industry collaborators to develop evidence-based solutions for improving representation of underserved populations in clinical research.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Established postdoctoral researcher with demonstrated expertise in mixed-methods research.
* Experience in evidence synthesis and health equity research.
* Proven project management skills and experience working with diverse stakeholder groups.
* Ability to coordinate across international teams and organisations.
