Legal Secretary / Legal Executive – General Practice
Location: Rathfarnham, Dublin
Job Type: Full-time (Part-time may be considered) Temporary Contract for 6 months initially.
Our client, a well-established general practice law firm based in Rathfarnham, is currently seeking an experienced Legal Secretary / Legal Executive to join their busy and growing practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who enjoys working across a broad range of practice areas and is looking for a long-term role within a supportive firm.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive support to solicitors across general practice matters, including conveyancing, probate, family law, litigation, wills, and estates.
The role offers variety and responsibility within a close-knit legal team.
Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative and legal support to solicitors
Drafting, formatting, and amending legal documents and correspondence
Managing files from opening through to completion
Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and external parties
Diary management and scheduling
Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally
Assisting with conveyancing and probate files, as required
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Executive (general practice experience is highly desirable)
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and standard legal office systems
Professional communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
