Senior research scientist - antimicrobial resistance

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Assistant Professor. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research group focused on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), playing a key role in enhancing the University's strategic initiatives through innovative research and collaboration.


Job Description:

The Assistant Professor position is designed to foster excellence in teaching, research, and service. As a member of the academic staff, you will contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and graduate programs, supervise students' research projects, and participate in curriculum design.

* Teaching responsibilities: You will teach courses related to antimicrobial resistance at both undergraduate and graduate levels, develop new curricula for emerging areas of study within your expertise, provide individualized support to students through office hours or mentorship sessions.


Required Skills & Qualifications:



* - A doctoral degree with significant experience in medical microbiology or allied fields.
- Demonstrated ability for innovative thinking with strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency using scientific software tools such as lab notebooks
