Job DescriptionWe have an opportunity for an individual interested in career progression within Hospitality to join our team as Hospitality Support. The successful candidate will join a team in one of our client sites working a busy event schedule reporting to the Hospitality and Events Manager. Previous experience in Hospitality is desired.Job ResponsibilitiesOrganisation and multi-tasking abilityService of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by the companyEnsure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to in particular HACCAP regulationsCleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniturePreparation of service area and/or service pointsClean and replenish service equipmentAccurate storage of food items and equipment after serviceFood assembly and service of same in an efficient manner, which may include some light cookingMonitor and record food and equipment temperaturesHandling cash transactions and ensuring the accurate cash handling procedures are followed in accordance with company procedure and till proceduresAttend in-house training sessionsMaintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations at all times.To present an image at all times conducive to good customer relationsComply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety policyComply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's policies and proceduresOther duties occasionally assigned by the Management team to ensure the smooth running of the departmentBarista duties when Hospitality is quietAn interest in food and serviceExcellent customer service skills & courteous mannerAbility to work with minimal direction and as part of a teamAbility to complete paperwork as assigned by your line managerDedication and self-motivationGood timekeepingTo contribute to maintaining high standards of personal hygieneQualificationsPrevious experience with a catering or hospitality environment desirable.Previous barista experience is desired.Knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.Good understanding of English.Customer service experience.Interest in career progression.
