We are seeking a qualified and motivated Staff Nurse to work as part of our Cardiology Clinic.
About the Role
In this role, you will work Monday to Friday on a shift basis between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. You will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations by entering prescription/medication information from patient referrals into electronic health records (EHR) for heart and vascular patients at the point of scheduling as part of clinic preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Responding to any medication and clinical inquiries from patients in real-time at the point of scheduling. This will involve answering phone calls, returning messages.
Collaborating closely with both the outpatient care team and cath lab scheduling team.
Requirements
Registered General Nurse.
Be on the live register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
2 years post qualification experience in an acute care setting.
Cardiology experience/knowledge essential.
