Job Description:
Parsons is anticipating the need for a Reporting Manager to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project on-site in Dublin. In this role, you will lead programme performance reporting, data visualization, and reporting governance, ensuring senior stakeholders have accurate and timely insights to drive informed decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Support the definition of Programme Controls reporting requirements and the development of standard reporting templates and formats.
* Develop forms, templates, and tools to capture project and programme status information.
* Coordinate the preparation and distribution of key weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining reporting schedules and calendars.
* Support the design, implementation, and governance of the programme's performance reporting framework.
* Lead, manage, and mentor a team of reporting analysts and engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables and ongoing professional development.
* Oversee the creation and delivery of programme-level reports, dashboards, and performance insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Work closely with project controls, finance, risk, and delivery teams to ensure reporting is integrated, consistent, and accurate.
* Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic objectives and delivery milestones.
* Ensure reporting processes and outputs comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and recognised industry best practice.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* 10+ years of experience in project performance reporting, with demonstrated success on major infrastructure or construction programmes.
* Experience using reporting tools and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Business Intelligence platforms including Tableau and Microsoft Power BI.
* Strong background in data analysis and data visualisation techniques.
* Extensive experience in project controls design, including developing and implementing processes, procedures, and systems to support effective project management and performance monitoring.
* Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related discipline (preferred).
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
* Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively within Programme Controls and/or Project Management environments.
* Proven people management or team leadership experience.
* Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
* Technical writing and graphic design experience (advantageous).
* Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, CAPM) is an advantage.
