**Job Title: Peripatetic Occupational Therapist - Acute Medicine Role**
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, responsive care across acute medical, surgical, and rehabilitation settings. This dynamic role requires the ability to work flexibly across teams and locations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assess and manage a diverse caseload, including patients with complex and neurological conditions, to support safe discharge, rehabilitation, and reablement.
* Conduct client-centred assessments using standardised and non-standardised tools.
* Implement evidence-based treatment plans to promote functional independence.
* Prescribe equipment and minor adaptations to support safe discharge.
* Provide professional advice to patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Fabricate or assess for splints when clinically indicated.
* Supervise and support junior and support staff, including students.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to audit and service evaluation.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy
* Hcpc registration
* Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (unless exempt)
