Showroom Store Manager – Bathroom & Tiles
I am recruiting an experienced Retail Manager to lead a busy bathroom and tile showroom in South Dublin.
You will be responsible for a team of five sales consultants and one warehouse/stockroom person.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for interiors, sales, and customer service to oversee the day-to-day operations, drive sales & margin, manage stock, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
As Showroom Manager, you and your team will engage with customers to understand their individual needs, providing expert guidance and inspiration as you lead them through a personalised showroom experience.
Though a background in bathrooms is advantageous, this is not essential.
I welcome a manager from a consultative retail environment; for example, this could be furniture, homewares, fashion, kitchens, electrical goods, or hardware/DIY.
Package: Salary €55k, negotiable but must reflect level of experience, Commission, Bonus, Pension Contribution, Life Assurance, 21 days holidays increasing to 25, Education Support, Wellness Initiatives.
Responsibilities for the job of Showroom Manager – Bathroom & Tiles
1. Oversee all aspects of showroom management, including staffing, merchandising, and customer relations.
2. Understand and be able to interrogate the branch P&L and monitor sales, margin, and costs.
3. Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
4. Provide expert advice to customers on bathroom and tile products, design options, and installations.
5. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.
6. Manage stock levels, ordering, and showroom displays to ensure a premium presentation.
7. Handle quotations, invoicing, and follow-up to close sales.
8. Always ensure excellent standards of customer care and professional service.
9. Ensure that branch administration is kept up to date and that requests for information from both internal and external customers are responded to promptly.
10. Manage and motivate staff and liaise with the HR Team when necessary.
