Job Description:
This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our Dublin office at least three times per week.

What you will do:
1. Collaborate with the Product team to clarify requirements and co-design effective, user-centric solutions.
2. Collaborate closely with Principals and Architects to align on technical vision and strategy.
3. Design and implement innovative solutions that enhance the core functionality and scalability of our platform.
4. Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance.
5. Provide technical mentorship to peers, fostering growth and knowledge sharing across the team.
The skills you will bring:
6. You have 5+ years' experience with application design and development in enterprise applications with the following: Java, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Web Stack, Spring Data or Spring JDBC), AWS
7. Working in an agile micro service orientated development environment
8. You are familiar with RESTful as an API design and common Batch Processing Patterns
9. You have good Database application development experience with Oracle/SQL or Aurora databases.
10. You have experience with unit and integration testing
11. Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD)
12. Experience working with AWS-based DevOps or CI/CD pipelines is advantageous — particularly if you've used tools such as OpenSearch (or Elasticsearch), Amazon MSK/Kafka, or AWS Lambda as part of infrastructure, monitoring, or event-driven architectures.
13. Familiarity with Apache Camel or Apache Kafka is advantageous, especially for designing event-driven architectures and microservice communication.

15. Has represented the team in design discussions by presenting and defending proposed solutions to senior technical stakeholders such as Principal Engineers or Architects.
