Post specifics
The organisation will consider post-specific requirements or experience in developing the CNS Tissue Viability, Wound Management and Lymphoedema/Lipoedema / Chronic Oedema service. Applicants must demonstrate depth and breadth of nursing experience in the specialist area of lower limb care, Tissue Viability, Wound Management and Lymphoedema/Lipoedema / Chronic Oedema. Certification in Lymphoedema management to include manual Lymphatic Drainage from a recognised school of Lymphoedema care or a commitment to complete this if successful for the post. It is recommended that the CNS consider completing the Nurse & Midwife Medicinal Product Prescribing programme in line with evolving service requirements.
Post holder must have access to appropriate transport as the post will involve travel.
Requirements
* Demonstrated nursing experience in tissue viability, wound management, and lymphoedema/lypoedema/chronic oedema.
* Certification in Lymphoedema management including manual Lymphatic Drainage (or commitment to obtain).
