We are the people behind Ireland’s electricity grid. We operate the power system with world leading levels of variable asynchronous renewable generation, ensuring that everyone has power when they need it. But that’s not all, we are now transforming the power system for future generations.
The Opportunity
This role will support the development and delivery of the power system and interconnection investment programmes in collaboration with partners, customers & communities. You will coordinate the tasks of key functions within our Infrastructure Onshore Office and assist in project and programme management across the customers and connections, engineering and asset management or network projects Ireland functions.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the development, initiation, implementation, and completion of projects and project objectives.
* Support preparation and coordination of key reports, presentations, strategies, and submissions.
* Develop Microsoft Project programmes, risk and issue logs using Microsoft Project and Excel; raise purchase requisitions in Microsoft Dynamics AX.
* Provide support to the customer/industry interface, including progress meetings, reporting, relationship management, coordination, and general communication.
* Build and develop relationships across the Directorate and company and support cross‑functional working groups.
* Identify, evaluate, and develop solutions to risks and issues arising on projects, escalating as necessary.
* Support Team Leads and Head of Function in organising work to deliver on objectives and coordinate external project consultants.
Qualifications
* Relevant third level qualification or equivalent experience.
* 2–4 years professional experience of managing workload, developing and writing reports.
* Strong project management skills.
* Proven analytical and problem‑solving ability.
* Strong communication skills with emphasis on effective report writing and clear technical issue communication.
