Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the Paralegal / Legal Assistant will work closely with cross-functional partners to support client management, marketing initiatives, litigation support, and compliance efforts. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong litigation background who is interested in expanding into broader corporate, compliance, and operational legal work.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in managing a diverse caseload, including commercial litigation, employment disputes, regulatory matters, and compliance researchReview, analyze, and input data into various contract typesResearch and monitor state bar ethics rules related to legal lead generation and attorney advertisingResearch and analyze compliance issues related to TCPA and data privacy lawsCollect, compile, and organize evidence and legal documentation for attorney reviewConduct legal and factual research using internal files and external sources, including statutes, regulations, case law, and legal publicationsAct as a liaison among internal teams, outside counsel, and vendors for scheduling and information sharingOrganize and manage documents, including spreadsheets, databases, and document retrieval systemsCoordinate the collection, review, and production of documents and respond to discovery requestsAssist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness binders, and deposition materialsAttend trials, depositions, and legal proceedings as needed, providing on-site supportSummarize deposition transcripts, trial transcripts, and exhibitsCompile information and prepare reports, statistics, charts, and summariesFile pleadings, exhibits, briefs, appeals, and other legal documents with courts and opposing counselUtilize legal software, case management systems, and e-discovery platforms to support internal and external counselManage and maintain internal contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and contractual obligations, including monitoring key terms, renewal dates, and deadlines.Administer and manage internal Concord documents, coordinating reviews, updates, approvals, and version control in accordance with established proceduresQualificationsAssociate's degree from an ABA-approved paralegal program or bachelor's degree preferredParalegal certification (NALA, NFPA, or NALS) strongly preferredMinimum of 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal environmentStrong legal research, investigation, and case management skillsExperience filing in federal court and Oklahoma state courtsExperience with e-discovery platforms and vendor coordinationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, time management, and project management abilitiesAnalytical, detail-oriented, and deadline-drivenHigh level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentialityAbility to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary, commensurate with experienceBonus eligibility based on project and company performanceComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company holidaysUp to two (2) weeks of paid PTO per calendar yearRemote work on Fridays; occasional flexibility may be requested based on business needsEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusiveworkplace.
