Maintenance/Caretaker required to complete maintenance repairs and upkeep throughout a large Bar Restaurant in Sligo town
This includes a mix of skilled and minor maintenance duties to ensure the property assets are maintained, ensuring a comfortable, properly functioning and aesthetically pleasing community for all our customers and staff
It is most important that the candidate has the ability to deliver a high level of service in a confident and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
* Clean the interior and exterior of buildings to ensure high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is kept.
* Minor paint/powerwashing maintenance jobs
* Complete all cleaning duties allocated by the Management within the appropriate time scales and to the required standard.
* To ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times.
* Emptying bins and putting out bins to be lifted
* Cleaning internal glass on doors & windows.
* Polishing (using approved products) and dusting of designated areas (to include sanitary areas and associated facilities), using where appropriate, the necessary powered equipment.
* Ensure adequate cleaning / housekeeping supplies are kept & orders given to manager to inform the office at the end of the month.
* Cleaning, tidying and storage of equipment after use.
* Maintain toilets and sanitary areas and ensure they are fully supplied with soap, tissue and hand towels.
* Perform daily, weekly and monthly deep clean of equipment as per checklists.
* Participate in 'deep cleaning' specified areas when necessary in order to maintain standards around all areas.
* Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists as required
* Perform other reasonable and relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Essential:
* 1-year previous experience in similar role.(preferred)
* Flexibility in shift work.
* Awareness of Health & Safety standards and procedures.
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
* Be in good physical health to complete all tasks associated with the role
* High attention to detail.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

* Carrick-On-Shannon, CO. Leitrim: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
