We are currently seeking a talented
Chef de Partie
to join our culinary team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where you will prepare dishes to the highest 5-star standards. Reporting to the Sous Chef and Head Chef, the successful candidate will be responsible for running their section efficiently while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Culinary Excellence:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to strict 5-star standards with a focus on grill techniques.
* Section Management:
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of your section, ensuring consistent quality and portion control.
* Hygiene & Safety:
Adhere strictly to HACCP, Health & Safety regulations, and maintain impeccable cleanliness.
* Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef during service and support/mentor junior team members.
* Operational Duties:
Assist with stock control, ordering, and correct stock rotation.
Requirements:
* Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie (or strong Demi Chef de Partie).
* Specialist Skill:
Proven experience working the
Grill section
is essential for this role.
* Background:
Experience in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment is preferred.
* Knowledge:
Strong understanding of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen procedures.
* Availability:
Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
* Logistics:
Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Kinsale, Co. Cork before starting work.
