Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering with an innovative SME in North Dublin who are hiring a Financial Controller to work closely with the MD and CEO to ensure long term sustainable growth.
The role of FC will manage a small team and be responsible for all areas of finance within the business. As the successful applicant you will have experience leading a finance function and improving processes and systems. This role is fully on-site in North Dublin.
Responsibilities
Manage all accounting operations
Collaborate with the CEO and Senior Management Team to formulate, implement, and deliver on the Company's defined Business Strategy
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, reporting any variances
Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements and management accounts
Creating monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
Streamlining and improving accounting systems and operations
Oversee the management of cash flow and debt/debt collection
Supervising and managing financial department staff
Manage the external audit process
Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making processes
Drive transformation projects within the Finance Department and support cross-functional projects
Manage relationships with various partners such as banks, external auditors, legal firms, and outsource service providers
Qualifications
ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant with minimum 5 years' experience in a senior finance management position
Excellent commercial awareness with experience in implementing organisational business strategy
Exceptional experience in Financial Planning and Analysis and Accounting
Technology-led mindset, with experience in business intelligence
