Job Title: Team Leader
The role of the Team Leader post is pivotal in supporting the coordination and management of a residential service. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting resource-management and staffing, including rosters, staff development, facilitating communication and professional leadership.
* A relevant 3rd level qualification in Social Care or Health Sector is required. This may include a Nursing qualification or a Social Care qualification registered with CORU.
* Previous experience of effectively managing a staff team and demonstrating a proven ability to pro-actively lead, motivate, empower and achieve results through people is an advantage.
* A minimum of three years' post qualification experience working with people with an Intellectual Disability is essential.
* Fluency in verbal and written English is an essential requirement.

Annual leave must be planned in advance with the Area Manager / Service Coordinator to ensure appropriate and adequate cover is provided for the service.
Contracted hours will be based on a 7-day duty roster and will depend on the grade of the successful candidate.
Supernumerary hours are included to support the governance and management of the Service.
