Power Software & Controls - Project Manager

The Power Software & Controls – Project Manager is a vital member of the project delivery team, responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budgets, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, a clear understanding of the software development lifecycle and being able to align with organizational goals.
The Project Manager will define project scope, goals, and deliverables, create and maintain detailed project plans, and ensure that all stakeholders remain informed and aligned throughout the project.
The Project Manager will mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure that quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
Management of projects from inception to on-site commissioning and client hand over.
Define the scope of projects in collaboration with senior management.
Creation of a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete projects.
Monitor progress of projects whilst making any adjustments necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects on multiple projects.
People Manage 5 - 6 Engineers
Allocate resources and assign responsibilities for the development of detailed software code for automation, control and energy management data acquisition applications.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to lead a team
Ensure that projects are completed to strict budgets and that project tracking documentation and variations are kept up to date for ongoing reviews.
Providing regular reports on progress to senior managers and the division manager.
Ensure project documentation is completed against strict timeframes to conform to client standards
Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services
Ensure client satisfaction on project completion
Evaluation of each project's performance and develop lessons learned for use on future projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in project management within a software development environment.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies.
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools
Other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
Time Travel Required
International site travel is an essential requirement for this position
