Offer description

As a seasoned accounts leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting team in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities include:


Key Responsibilities

* Process weekly payroll for 45+ staff, including timecard approval and input of hours.
* Prepare payroll journal and process to nominal ledger.
* Manage creditors ledger, including nominal coding and processing VAT.
* Reconcile ledger balances to creditor statements.
* Administer subcontractor invoices and track retentions held from subcontractors.
* Maintain daily bank reconciliation for multiple accounts and credit cards.
* Prepare monthly balance sheet and profit and loss reports with reconciliation of all balance sheet items.
* Submit and reconcile taxes, including VAT and payroll taxes.

Requirements:

* Minimum three years' experience in a similar role.
* Part Qualified or Qualified accountant preferred.
* Strong Excel skills essential.
