Job Title: Financial Controller – US GAAP & Statutory Compliance
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Work model: hybrid (1 day in the office, 4 days at home)
Duration of contract: 10 months
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, review, and coordinate the month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and US GAAP reporting obligations.
* Prepare financial statements for the company's subsidiaries and drive the statutory audit process to ensure compliance with local regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tax, Treasury, and Legal to mitigate enterprise risks.
* Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance for Mergers & Acquisitions accounting.
* Contribute to the execution of key global strategic initiatives and projects.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) with 2+ years of post-qualification relevant experience.
* Experience: Strong background in US GAAP reporting, statutory audits, and experience in a multinational, large PLC, or Big-4 audit environment.
* Technology Skills: Exposure to ERP solutions is a plus.
* Soft Skills: A proactive self-starter with an innovative mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities in a collaborative and high-performing global environment.
