Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the service. This includes providing high-quality services to residents, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with HIQA standards.
As the Person in Charge, you will lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional care and support. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of services and promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the staff team, including supervision, appraisals, and mentorship
* Coordinate and prioritize appointments with the multi-disciplinary team
* Ensure regular reviews and updates of care plans
* Develop and implement strategies to promote resident choice and control
* Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
* A QQI Level 7 Degree in Social Care or a relevant Allied Healthcare related discipline
* At least three years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the Health or Social Care sector
* An appropriate qualification in Health or Social Care management (minimum level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications)
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
