Hotel Front Office Manager – Dublin

On behalf of our client, a leading 4-star corporate hotel in Dublin West, we are currently recruiting for an experienced and people-focused Front Office Manager to join their senior leadership team. This is a high-volume, fast-paced property catering primarily to business and corporate guests, with a strong meetings and events offering. The ideal candidate will be a confident leader with a proven track record in managing front office operations, developing teams, and driving service excellence and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the front office team including reception, concierge, and night audit.
2. Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork across all front office functions.
3. Coach, mentor, and develop team members through structured training, performance reviews, and ongoing support.
4. Implement and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent service delivery and operational efficiency.
5. Collaborate with Revenue and Sales teams to support upselling initiatives and maximise guest spend.
6. Ensure smooth and professional check-in/check-out processes and handle guest queries and complaints effectively.
7. Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, particularly for meetings and events.
8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators including guest satisfaction, team productivity, and upselling performance.
9. Manage recruitment, onboarding, rostering, and scheduling to ensure optimal staffing and service levels.

Candidate Profile:

10. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Front Office Manager in a busy 4-star or higher hotel.
11. Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, people-first approach.
12. Proven experience in team development, SOP implementation, and operational improvement.
13. Commercially aware with a solid understanding of revenue generation through guest service.
14. Proficient in hotel PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Protel, or similar).
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Flexible and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
