Ophthalmic Technician South Dublin permanent role Our client is a busy private ophthalmic clinic and surgical centre in South Dublin. Their team of over 20 staff provide the highest level of service to their patients. This is a well-established clinic with state-of-the-art technology for clinical support for general ophthalmology. The clinic is very well supported by a large administrative, nursing and ophthalmic technician team. Working hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. 8-hour shifts with 30-minute lunch break. Monday Friday with 1 Saturday every 4-6 weeks. Saturdays are rotated and time in lieu is given for Saturdays worked. The Clinic is closed on Bank Holidays. Salary: Depending on experience 22 days Annual Leave plus 1 day of leave for birthday, also, service days accrued for future leave years (Applicable after completing 1 full calendar year of service) Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree or Experience as a Health Care Assistant Strong work ethic with a particular focus on customer service Excellent communication skills Excellent attention to detail Strong service ethic Description of the role: Clinical duties and responsibilities Working as part of the Nursing/ Technician team to perform ophthalmic diagnostic testing on patients as part of clinical work ups for consultations at the Clinic.
