We have a fantastic opportunity for experienced Food & Beverage Assistants to join our team at the Kilkenny River Court Hotel. This role is ideally suited for someone who can offer flexibility and availability to work midweek mornings and evenings, as well as weekends. The Kilkenny River Court Hotel is a premier 4-star city centre hotel and is superbly located adjacent to the main shopping areas, theatres, entertainment, tourist attractions, Kilkenny's Medieval Mile, and Kilkenny Castle. We are part of the Neville Hotel group, a family‑owned Irish Hotel Group with six iconic hotels. They are the 4* Royal Marine Hotel in Dn Laoghaire, County Dublin, the 5* Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in Wicklow, the 4* Kilkenny River Court Hotel, the 4* Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre in Waterford City, the 4* Ravenport Resort in Wexford, and 4* Whites of Wexford.
The Candidate:
* Must have excellent communication skills.
* Must have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar F&B role.
* Must be flexible to work mid-week mornings and evenings, and weekends.
* Friendly outgoing personality.
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Essential Functions:
* Deliver a professional, friendly, and courteous service to all guests at all times.
* Ensure guests are warmly welcomed, seated comfortably, and orders are taken promptly and accurately.
* Provide efficient, knowledgeable, and attentive food & beverage service.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all food and beverage menus, daily specials, and promotions.
* Carry out all cash handling and billing procedures in line with company policies and standards.
* Ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are upheld throughout the service area.
* Support other departments as required.
