Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Pastry Chef and Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality pastry items, maintaining presentation, portion control, and taste standards in all dishes produced.
* Ensure adherence to HACCP procedures and food safety regulations, while supporting daily mise en place and contributing ideas to menu development.
* Take responsibility for maintaining a clean and organised pastry section, demonstrating efficiency and teamwork skills in a busy kitchen environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Prior experience in a pastry kitchen, preferably in a 5-star hotel or fine dining setting, is essential. A genuine passion for pastry with a keen eye for detail is also crucial.
