This is a critical client-facing role requiring a seasoned professional capable of acting as theClient's Representativeand leading multi-disciplinary design and construction teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Irish contract law, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of delivering projects successfully on time and budget within a consultancy setting.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of 2-3 complex projects simultaneously, including:Client Representation & Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their objectives, expectations, and governance requirements are meticulously managed and met throughout the project lifecycle.Project Governance & Controls: Establish and implement robust project governance frameworks, including change control, risk registers, financial reporting, and detailed program management.Contract Administration: Expertly administer various forms of construction contracts, including GCCC (Government Contracts Committee for Construction), RIAI, and FIDIC, handling certification, claims management, and dispute resolution.Procurement: Lead the procurement process for both design teams and main contractors, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and best value for the client.Financial Oversight: Manage and monitor project budgets, conduct value engineering, process interim payments, and manage project close-out accounts.Stakeholder Coordination: Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams (Architects, Engineers, QS, etc.) and contractors, driving effective communication and decision-making.Design & Quality Review: Oversee the design process, ensuring constructability, quality compliance, and adherence to all Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.Qualifications and ExperienceEducation: A Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture is essential.Professional Status (Essential): Chartered status (e.g., MRICS, PMP, Chartered Engineer ) is highly desirable for this senior role.Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years operating at a Senior or Lead PM level, preferably within a professional consultancy or client-side environment.Contractual Expertise: Demonstrable proficiency and experience administering standard Irish construction contracts (GCCC/RIAI).Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the South Dublin/Leinster construction market, regulatory environment, and planning processes.Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and project management platforms.Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses exceptional organizational and communication skills.
