ARI is part of the Irish government-owned daa group. The role holder will have overall programme responsibility and oversight of a programme of various retail projects ranging from (1M to 30M) in value in the Ireland Portfolio and will assist the Global Implementation Team as required with International projects. The role will require the management of key stakeholders across multiple diverse groups and will require the individual to work with a wide range of business global stakeholders to achieve programme objectives. The role holder will be responsible for delivering complex programmes of work in an airport environment, operating on a 24 x 7 basis, so strong attention to detail, problem solving skills and risk management practices are essential Programme Management Develop, Lead and manage complex, cross-functional programs from initiation to completion for ARI Retail Programmes. Develop and maintain detailed programme plans, schedules, and budgets. Align programme objectives with organizational strategy and goals. Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks and issues Monitor programme progress and adjust plans as needed Ensure timely delivery of programme milestones and deliverables Facilitate collaboration among project teams and departments Prepare and present regular programme status reports to leadership Drive continuous improvement and best practices in program management Address and manage any conflicts or issues that arise between stakeholders (internal teams or external), ensuring resolutions that align with ARI & daa goals. Oversee timelines across the entire capital programme. Ensure all milestones are met and that projects are delivered on time, adjusting for unforeseen delays as needed. Governance and Procurement Responsible for ensuring project/programme governance structures are aligned with ARI and daa corporate governance requirements. Responsible for ensuring all approvals on the project/programme are within parameters and necessary approvals at ARI and daa. Define, manage, and lead the execution of the procurement process (with group procurement) for the Design and Capital workstreams including Retail Concept Design Consultants, Detailed Design Consultants, Vendor Management Consultants, Cost Managers, Project Managers, MEP consultants, General Contractors, H&S Consultants, AV consultants, IT service providers and others as required. Ensure necessary inputs to the procurement team to ensure tenders are run in line with governance requirements. Ensure necessary approvals are obtained from ARI, Portfolio Board and Exec CAPEX Boards and daa board as required. Provide leadership, clarity, and direction to the programmes team to ensure all project objectives are met. Represent ARIs requirements and programmes as part of various regulatory CIP processes and infrastructure applications within the group. Set up regular feedback sessions with stakeholders, particularly vendors, to continuously improve strategies and processes. Provide regular updates to senior management and key stakeholders on the progress, risks, and financial performance of the capital programme. Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation. Stakeholder Identify and map key internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, various departments across ARI and daa, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment with the goals of each project. Align stakeholder needs and expectations with long-term strategy, ensuring that stakeholder perspectives inform and guide development. Lead Programme communications via Project Steerco structure to senior leadership team. Actively engage with daa leadership team to ensure transparency and alignment with expectations. Develop and deliver regular stakeholder communication and progress reports on initiatives. Act as the primary point of contact for senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders. Engage with internal teams (such as Design, Operations, Procurement, Legal) and external partners (e.g., contractors, architects, consultants) to ensure effective communication and programme alignment. Build and nurture strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, to enhance collaboration and satisfaction. Work closely with marketing, product, IT, and customer service teams to drive improvements based on external passenger feedback and requirements. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and other key resources. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, providing guidance and support where needed. Experience Programme Management experience with a minimum of 8 years experience in managing programmes of more than 10M Euro. Skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Formal Project or Programme Management Certification (PMP or Prince 2) is essential. Experience in managing complex programmes from initiation to completion.
