Role Details
Location: Unit 4, St. John's Grove, Johnstown, Co.
Kildare, W91 Y074
Shift times: 09:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
Positions available: 4
Driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable
Please note: this location is not serviced by public transport
Requirements
QQI Level 5 Qualification in Healthcare Support or equivalent
Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities
Minimum 2 years post qualification experience desirable
Resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or valid GNIB permission (Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, or 4 EUFam)
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting
International Police Clearance if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16
Responsibilities
Support adults with intellectual disabilities in a day service environment
Assist service users with daily activities and personal care where required
Promote independence, inclusion, and wellbeing
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the person in charge
Help provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for service users
