Our graduate programme focuses on learning new skills and developing existing ones. Over a two-year period, you will be placed in projects where you contribute to meaningful work and to the business. This is a full-time permanent contract, based at our Dublin or Waterford Office, with an excellent salary and benefits package.Position SummaryWhat you will do in this graduate role is to work on projects within our Gas Transmission & Distribution team, contributing to electrical, instrumentation and control design as part of a structured development programme.What will I be doing?Prepare coordinated drawings covering installations—mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and structural elements. Produce Gas Transmission AGI Design including Electrical Layouts, LV Distribution Design, Control & Instrumentation Design, Earth Grid Design and General Services Design.Carry out Power Systems Electrical Studies: Load estimates, protection coordination, and cable sizing calculations. Use engineering software for control and protection design and substation layouts, and power system modelling software for steady-state and transient studies (including short-circuit, protection coordination and grid compliance studies for proposed renewable generation).Generate technical documentation and interact with customers to develop your soft skills.
