Role Overview
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Advanced Nurse Practitioner (Oncology) to provide exceptional patient care and leadership support in our dynamic healthcare setting.
1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Be registered with the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by NMBI and hold a current NMBI PIN, which is essential for this role.
3. Have at least 5 years of post-registration experience in an acute setting, as this will be crucial for delivering high-quality patient care.
4. Hold a recognised qualification or possess relevant experience within the speciality, as this will enable you to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
5. Be qualified as an ANP in Oncology, which is a must-have for this position.
6. While not essential, having a minimum of 3 years' management experience and completion of a management training programme would be advantageous.
7. Proven clinical and professional ability, along with good IT skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative, are all desirable qualities for this role.
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling you to positively engage with patients and staff, are also key requirements.
9. Enthusiasm, high motivation, and a proven ability to work under pressure are necessary for success in this position.
10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation are also expected.
