Content Writer - Ireland Secondary - Science

Job Title: Content Writer – Ireland Secondary – Science

Location: Ireland, Remote

Pay Rate: €14.50 per hour

Contract: Self-Employed Contractor

Line Manager: Holly Clarke

Recruiter: James Cook

Hours: 15 hours per week

Closing Date: 2 weeks from publishing

You’ll be helping to build a new team of passionate professionals working flexibly to write content for Twinkl’s emerging Irish market. This team will create a wide range of resources for use in primary schools in Ireland. This will include PowerPoints, display materials, activity sheets, assessments and planning. For this role, the majority of your time will be spent auditing and creating Science resources for the Irish Secondary market.

Ongoing Projects / How You’ll Spend Your Day

* Auditing And Writing Science Content For The Irish Market
* Meeting With Other Twinkl Writers Or The Secondary Segment Manager To Discuss New Ideas
* Developing New Product Ideas With The Secondary Segment Manager

Ireland Secondary is a rapidly growing market for Twinkl. You will have the creative freedom to shape the content we offer to our customers. Our ideal candidate will go further than writing content by suggesting new product ideas, identifying needs in the Irish teaching community, and sharing their experiences and expertise with others.

In This Role, You Will Learn

* How To Create New Teacher Content For Our Irish Team, From Ideation Stage To Publication On The Site
* Remote Collaboration, Working Closely With Team Members Across This Market
* How To Develop Greater Commercial Awareness So We Can Understand The Needs Of Those We Want To Help

You’ll Work With

* Other Secondary Teachers Currently Working Across Ireland And Writing Content For Twinkl
* Editors, Designers And Illustrators Who All Help To Create Content For The Irish Secondary Market

We're Interested In Anyone Who Meets The Following:

Qualifications: Level 8 Bachelor Of Education Degree; Or Level 9 Professional Masters In Education

Experience: Minimum Of 3 Years’ Classroom Experience, Currently Teaching Or Classroom Teaching Within The Last 12 Months

Essential For Remote Working
