Risk Consultant – Risk Data & GovernanceAlbany Beck is seeking an experienced Risk Consultant to join a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening risk data and reporting across the business. This role will also support broader Risk Governance deliverables, including monthly risk reporting, emerging risk frameworks, and risk charter implementation.This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery-driven professional with strong risk knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights. You will play a critical role in enabling the team to deliver its 2026 initiatives following a risk effectiveness review.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end delivery of risk data and reporting initiatives, including collation, analysis, and presentation of data insightsSupport ongoing Risk Governance activities, including monthly risk reporting, development of emerging risk frameworks, and risk charter implementationAnalyse and validate large datasets, identifying and resolving data quality issues to ensure accuracy and reliabilityTranslate complex risk and data insights into clear, actionable reporting for stakeholdersCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projectsTake ownership of assigned deliverables, working independently while contributing to a small, dynamic teamExperience & SkillsStrong understanding of risk frameworks, including risk appetite statements, enterprise risk, and material/emerging risk assessmentsHands-on experience working with large datasets; able to identify and resolve data quality issuesAdvanced Excel skills; experience with Tableau or other visualization tools is a strong plusExperience in risk reporting and supporting risk data processesStrong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skillsSelf-starter who can own projects independently while collaborating effectively with the teamExperience working across multiple functions in a business environmentDesirable (Nice-to-Have)Exposure to databases, SQL, Python, or other data toolsProject management experienceTeam & CultureSmall, supportive, and collaborative risk teamStrong emphasis on personality and cultural fitFlexible working culture, particularly supportive of parents
