Senior Planner (Relocate to Canada) Exciting career opening for a Senior Planner / Scheduler to move to Ontario, Canada and join the Building Division of a leading Canadian Main Contractor (approximately $4 billion annual revenue). This role involves working on a diverse range of projects, including High-Rise, Commercial, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Transportation, and Educational developments. Responsibilities: Develop and manage detailed project master schedules for complex, high-priority projects using the Critical Path Method, ensuring milestones and contract obligations are met while coordinating with external parties. Build strong relationships with clients and scheduling consultants to finalize baseline schedules, negotiating tailored scheduling standards based on project complexity. Update schedules with cash flow projections, revisions, and risk tracking, producing advanced performance reports like dashboards, Earned Value Analysis, S-curves, Heatmaps, and Variance Analysis. Identify and mitigate schedule risks, analyze critical and near-critical path activities, monitor float, and provide guidance on extension of time claims with delay analysis experts. Lead the creation of commissioning and bid management schedules, oversee interface coordination across design, procurement, construction, and permitting, and support budget reviews while mentoring junior Planners / Schedulers. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Over 10 years of Planning / Scheduling experience in building, industrial, civil, or infrastructure sectors. Certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, EIT, CCDA, or CET are advantageous. Proven experience overseeing projects from start to finish using various delivery approaches (EPC, Design-Build, CM, PPP, etc.). Solid understanding of delay analysis methods and experience with extension of time claims. Background with a General Contractor is essential. Expertise in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Microsoft Project, Tilos, Powerproject, vPlanner, or 4D scheduling tools is a plus. Excellent skills in report writing, communication, and presentations. Benefits: Annual salary of $160,000 - $170,000 CAD (approximately €108,000 - €115,000).
