About the Role

We are a busy Volkswagen dealership based in Ballybrit, Galway, and we are seeking a Showroom Host / Customer Contact Administrator to join our team in a job-sharing capacity. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will represent the face and voice of Western Motors. You'll support both the Sales and Aftersales teams through a mix of customer service, administration, and communications duties.

This position will operate on a rotational job-share basis, working either Monday to Wednesday or Thursday to Saturday, with each team member providing cover for the other during annual leave to ensure continuous customer service.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all customers and visitors.
* Manage inbound calls, messages, and showroom queries efficiently and courteously.
* Make outbound calls for service reminders, booking confirmations, and customer follow-ups.
* Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of all customer-facing areas.
* Support the Business Development Centre (BDC) with campaigns, CRM updates, and administrative tasks.
* Handle a variety of office duties including post, stock orders, and documentation uploads.
* Contribute to our commitment to customer care and continuous improvement.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Is organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* Is confident using telephony and CRM systems (training provided).
* Enjoys being part of a close-knit, customer-focused team.
* Is available to work in a job-share pattern (Monday–Wednesday or Thursday–Saturday, rotating weekly or as scheduled).
* Is flexible and willing to provide cover for their job-share partner during annual leave and any other leave.

Previous experience in a front-of-house, reception, or customer service role is desirable but not essential — enthusiasm and professionalism are what matter most.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From €13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
