Responsibilities
1. Implement, and executepliance testing program for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls in the first and second lines of defence.
2. Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting ofpliance assurance reviews and regulatory issue validation.
3. Perform qualitative, risk-based testing on first and second lines of defence by reviewing key Anti-Money Laundering/Financial crime control points from a population sample.
4. Participate in preliminary discussions with applicable control owners and present initial test findings.
5. Produce Reports (including ad hoc) for control owners and senior management based on initial findings and discussions, at the direction of the AML Assurance/QA Manager.
6. Develop and prepare corrective action and management information reports for control owners.
7. Conduct timely follow-ups on pending issues to ensure quick resolutions.
8. Participate in the planning, execution and reporting ofpliance assurance reviews.
9. Carry outpliance and regulatory issue validation activities in accordance with the Assurance Testing Plan.
10. Assist with the development and enhancement of the Assurance Testing Methodologies and Standards for testing, monitoring, and reporting.
11. Utilize innovativepliance testing solutions including Data Analytics for value addition and reduce costs ofpliance-related activities.
12. Coordinate QA/Testing reviews under the guidance of the AML Assurance/QA Manager and Senior QA/Testing Analyst, following the Assurance Testing Plan.
13. Assist in producing AML/Anti-financial crime Quality Assurance review metrics and distribute to stakeholders.
14. Update and monitor issues identified for remediation using the variouspliance Tracking Tools.
15. Intermediate knowledge in the usage of Oracle SQL to retrieve, filter, analyse, format and present information from Oracle databases for testing and exception report monitoring.
Experience
16. At least 2+ years' experience in Anti-Money Launderingpliance, preferably at a large broker or other financial institution with a European customer base, or an EU regulator.
17. Experience in KYC/customer due diligence reviews, transaction monitoring, financial crime investigations and anti-fraud, will be required
18. Audit experience within the financial sector will be beneficial
19. A Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or Accounting preferred or Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or similar ICA Diploma.
20. Sound knowledge of European and UK regulations, European Directives and ability to be current on AML developments.

21. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
22. Self-motivated with the ability to work in a small team as well as independently.
23. Proficiency in the usage of MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
24. Efficient when working with large data sets in excel or other proprietary databases.
25. Strong attention to detail.
