Support Worker in Residential Care
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Support Worker to join our team in residential care. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting young people aged 12-17 to navigate their journey to independence and adulthood.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to assessment and behaviour management plans for children and young people.
* Teach young people who are not engaged in school outside the house, in both 1:1 and group settings.
* Provide educational support to young people who are engaged in school, assisting them with homework and study skills.
* Participate in planned and responsive residential care, ensuring the well-being and safety of all residents.
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 7 or 8 qualification in Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
* Have a full driving licence and access to a car.
* Demonstrate knowledge of effective team working principles.
* Be flexible to work varied shifts, including 15 and 24 hour rotations.
