Job Description

The Legal Secretary will play a vital role in case management services, providing support to clients with catastrophic care needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Review medical records and consult with healthcare professionals as necessary.
* Produce clear, accurate, and well-structured medico-legal reports detailing medical history, current condition, prognosis, and other pertinent findings.
* Liaise with case managers regarding case management clients where this is a cross-over with expert witness reports.
* Provide administrative support to case managers and other staff members, including assisting clients with paperwork, applications, and other administrative tasks.
* Manage client records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and case files, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.
* Maintain filing systems, correspondence, documents, and personal files.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a busy office environment, strong MS Office skills, including Excel, and excellent typing speed/IT skills. They must also possess a flexible approach, a friendly disposition, and the ability to work well as part of a team. Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information, good problem-solving skills, and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills are essential.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
