Role Overview The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical systems for a variety of high-profile building projects. Youll collaborate as part of an integrated project team, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and compliant design solutions from concept through to completion. Key Responsibilities Undertake engineering design and design management tasks across multiple projects. Design and specify mechanical engineering systems in line with current regulations and standards. Work directly with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions. Support pre-construction activities, including design development, coordination, and technical documentation. Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, and construction teams. Potential 2026 Projects Major Healthcare Campus Redevelopment design of high-efficiency HVAC and mechanical systems for a large hospital expansion. Flagship Commercial Office Development sustainable building design targeting LEED Gold certification. Mixed-Use Residential Scheme mechanical design for a multi-block development incorporating district heating and energy recovery systems. Skills & Experience Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Minimum 3 years experience in a design consultancy environment. Strong technical proficiency in mechanical systems design. Knowledge of CIBSE, ASHRAE, Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards. Proficient in Hevacomp, AutoCAD, and MS Office. Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail. Experience collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors.
