Hotel Operations Manager Job Opportunity
The Hotel Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the hotel. This includes assisting the General Manager with overall planning, organizing, and control of all departments within the hotel.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.
* Attend weekly management meetings to review operations and address any issues.
* Conduct regular floor walks to ensure that all standards are being met.
* Effectively communicate with all staff members on a daily basis.
* Manage the Porter department and provide training as needed.
* Oversee the float management system and ensure that all procedures are followed.
* Focus on maximizing room occupancy figures and providing excellent service to VIPs and groups.
* Carry out regular room spot checks to maintain high standards.
* Deal with guest complaints or queries in a professional manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least three years' experience in a senior hospitality operations position and possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
