Matrix Recruitment are working alongside our client for this exciting opportunity to join the Operations Department as a
Transport and Haulage Coordinator
in a well-established manufacturing organisation, supporting the smooth movement of products from production to delivery sites across the Republic of Ireland.

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating transport activities, working closely with internal teams and external haulage partners.
This is a day-shift, Monday–Friday role, with some flexibility required based on business needs.
You'll be at the heart of ensuring seamless logistics and supporting future system upgrades.
This role is initially a 12 week contract, with the idea of turning into a permanent role.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule daily and weekly transport requirements
Liaise with external haulage partners for timely deliveries
Address site queries and resolve delivery issues efficiently
Maintain accurate load documentation for traceability and audits
Support the transition and use of a new ERP/MRP system
Coordinate with yard, production, and operations teams
Provide cover for yard/loading supervision as needed
Report on KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement, with a strong focus on safety
What Are We Looking For?
Proven experience in transport coordination, dispatch, or logistics
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
Willingness to learn and operate ERP/MRP systems
Knowledge of ROI delivery logistics
Calm communicator with ownership, accountability, and a positive, safety-minded attitude
