As the Colleague Experience & Retail Planning Manager, you will lead and coordinate initiatives that enhance the colleague experience and streamline retail planning processes across our stores. Your work will empower Store Teams to consistently deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring operational clarity, supporting capability development, and providing the tools and structures needed for effective retail execution.
This role sits at the heart of our store operations, driving alignment between strategic priorities and day-to-day execution. You'll collaborate across functions to design and implement initiatives that improve how our colleagues work, feel, and grow-ultimately shaping a more engaging and productive retail environment.

You will be responsible for
Design, develop and deliver key propositions in Colleague experience areas
Builds strong, collaborative relationships with store teams, HR, operations, and central functions
Produce and maintain weekly retail dashboards to support visibility of performance and priorities
Support Retail Leadership Teams and Half-Year Retail Review meetings with planning and materials
Use the capability planner to ensure retail calls and meetings are scheduled effectively and do not clash
Collate and distribute KPI packs and Big 6 reports by proactively engaging stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Coordinate operational training initiatives and manage the process and sign-off through the capability planner
Ensure training plans are aligned with business priorities and store needs
Plans and coordinates colleague engagement events, training sessions, and operational reviews
Manages logistics, templates, venues, and communications to ensure smooth execution
Gathers and interprets colleague feedback, engagement scores, and operational data to inform improvements
Maintain Tesco Help and Comms Centre administration, including updating for new initiatives and tools
Set up new stores in relevant systems and ensure operational readiness
Communicate changes to store manager lists and manage area distribution lists in Outlook
Collate weekend duty rosters for Retail Weekly and UK-wide lists
Update hierarchy structures as needed and elevate access issues for resolution
