Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.To register your interest you can contact an Employment Personal Advisor (EPA) in your local Intreo Centre.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesMaintenance of the natural environment around the premises and general on-site grounds care.Manage small and heavy machinery and operate on-site equipment (eg plumbing, light fittings, etc.).Carry out periodic grounds maintenance including planting, fertilising, weeding, watering, trimming and pruning; cultivate foliage as appropriate.Ensure pathways, stairs, indoor seating and other structures are safe for users.Perform repairs to premises (doors, walls, floors, windows, locks, machinery and fixtures).Inspect community spaces daily to identify problems such as litter and hazards.Respond to requests from property managers and maintenance services as needed.Keep parking lots and sidewalks free from litter and debris.Assist with other general maintenance tasks as required to support site operations.Qualifications and RequirementsThis is a developmental opportunity; no prior experience is required.
