Based in Dublin 2, the 30-strong Apata team design, build, and sell modern 3DS products to traditional banks, digital banks, issuer processors, and fintech issuers globally.
Today, the Apata platform is used by Nubank, Wise, Galileo, Thredd and over 200 other issuers worldwide, authenticating hundreds of millions of ecommerce transactions every year.
About the Role
As a scale-up, new business is the lifeblood of the company. As an
Enterprise Account Executive
, you will be Apata's representative in the market, responsible for identifying strategic accounts, engaging the right personas, and uncovering high-value new business opportunities.
This could mean running an 8-week discovery-to-close cycle with a fast-moving fintech issuer, or leading a multi-year, multi-stakeholder sales process with a Tier 1 retail bank.
You'll lead large, multi-year enterprise deals (€80k - €500k+ ACV) with full autonomy, influencing commercial structure, stakeholder alignment, and strategic execution from first outreach to signature.
What You'll Do:
* Build and maintain a high-quality strategic account list to focus your prospecting time on accounts most likely to close.
* Self-generate the majority of pipeline while also leveraging inbound leads, marketing campaigns, events, and referral networks.
* Own the full sales cycle from discovery, qualification and demo to commercial negotiation, and close.
* Establish strong and lasting relationships with prospective customers across technical, product, risk, and commercial teams.
* Showcase the Apata platform to both business and technical stakeholders, supported by the Product team when needed.
* Negotiate multi-year commercial agreements with complex enterprise customers.
* Identify market trends, share customer insights, and influence our product roadmap.
* Represent the Apata brand at conferences, industry events, and in international markets.
* Maintain accurate CRM (HubSpot) hygiene to support forecasting and company-wide visibility of pipeline.
