The Role As an Electrical Control Systems Design Engineer, you will deliver high-quality electrical control solutions tailored to customer requirements, while supporting the full lifecycle of project implementation. Collaborating with a skilled multidisciplinary team, youll work closely with customers to assess and influence the integrity, performance and safety of their automated machines, identifying areas for optimisation and improvement. In addition, youll ensure all project deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule and to specification, maintaining the highest standards of service, compliance and technical quality throughout. About You To be considered as an Electrical Control Systems Design Engineer, you will need: - A senior electrical trades qualification OR a 3rd level qualification in electrical and automation systems - Training and experience in industrial electrical control systems design, manufacturing, installation, fault-finding and commissioning - Experience with PLCs, Drives, Servos, Sensors, and Machine Safety Systems - Electrical controls design and drawing experience using industry standard CAD packages, with AutoCAD Electrical experience desired - Excellent customer service skills - The ability to work as part of a team Other organisations may call this role Electrical Design Engineer, Automation Systems Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, Electrical Project Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Electrical Systems Engineer.
