Gallagher is one of the largest insurance brokerages in the world. We are seeking to add a Personal Lines Account Handler to our team, based in our Limerick office. This is a full-time, permanent position. Gallagher’s team in Ireland has over 100 years of combined insurance experience, offering business, personal, and financial insurance solutions to protect what matters most to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle inbound and outbound sales calls to engage potential clients and convert leads into policies.
2. Assess client requirements and recommend suitable insurance products.
3. Prepare and present quotes, explaining coverage details and benefits clearly and accurately.
4. Follow up on inquiries and quotes promptly to maximize conversion rates.
5. Proactively contact existing clients to discuss policy renewals, ensuring continued coverage and satisfaction.
6. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services.
7. Manage lapsed or at-risk policies, working to re-engage clients and recover lost business.
8. Deliver exceptional service by understanding client needs and providing professional, empathetic support.
9. Handle customer queries, complaints, or escalations efficiently and professionally.
10. Build long-term relationships with clients by ensuring a positive experience.
11. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and Gallagher’s policies.
12. Maintain accurate records of client interactions using Gallagher’s CRM system.
13. Stay updated with changes in insurance products, pricing, and compliance.
14. Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and team to achieve targets.
15. Contribute to team meetings and share best practices.
Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
* Minimum of APA qualification.
* Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
* Proven ability to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Persuasive and confident sales abilities with a customer-focused approach.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
* Problem-solving skills to address client concerns.
* Completion of the annual CPD requirement and Maintenance of Minimum Competency Code.
* Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
