We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial and residential projects across the Munster area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and excellent leadership skills.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements. They will also liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements.
2. Liaise with the design team to ensure works are completed according to the programme.
3. Report to the Contracts Manager.
4. Direct and manage personnel, site staff, and subcontractors, and manage and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops, and plan actions.
5. Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
Requirements
* A degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
* A minimum of 10 years' experience in the construction industry with a Main Contractor in ROI.
* A background in engineering is desirable.
* The ability to effectively manage site programmes and associated schedules to required deadlines.
* Experience managing multiple subcontractors at a time.
* A thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint, with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
