Healthwave is currently recruiting a Pharmacy Technician to join our team based in Dundrum, Dublin as we continue to grow our digital pharmacy service across Ireland.
The position will suit those who have either worked as a pharmacy technician or OTC assistant and are looking to join a larger team with more flexible work patterns.
You will work alongside our Digital Patient Care team, Pharmacists team and Dispensing team, preparing prescriptions for our patients across various schemes and interacting mainly by chat and phone.
Working as a technician at Healthwave, you will have the opportunity to work across different areas of business including our home delivery dispensing service, weight loss service, online pharmacy service and our robotic PillPod dispensing system.
The role
This is a full time role with the option to work 4 or 5 days.
Shorter shifts can also be accommodated for those needing flexibility around childcare or long commutes.
The pharmacy closes 1-2pm for lunch each day.
Our dispensary use Touchstore software.

Key responsibilities:
* Providing a high level of customer service by phone and other messaging channels (social media, text message etc)
* Working as part of the dispensing team.
* Liaising with the pharmacist teams
* Gathering stock and dispensing prescriptions across various HSE schemes
* Packaging medications for delivery
* Processing monthly HSE claim

The role is based at our Dundrum store, conveniently located across from the Balally Green Luas stop.
Applicants must have the following to be considered for shortlisting:
* Pharmacy dispensing experience in Ireland
* Experience working in a fast paced environment
* Experience sending dispensary orders to various suppliers
* Experience sending the HSE monthly claim and managing follow up queries
* An in depth knowledge of HSE schemes and the associated rules
* Fluent English
