From ensuring the accuracy of inventory values across multiple production stages to guiding business functions with actionable financial insights, your expertise will drive both precision and progress. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of accounting and operations—someone who can see beyond the spreadsheets and connect the dots between data, processes, and people.What you’ll be doingLead month-end close processes, including overhead treatment, reconciliations, and close deliverables under US GAAP.Oversee manufacturing activity accounting—covering material purchases, contract manufacturing, and overhead absorption.Manage intercompany inventory transactions, including Profit in Inventory (PII) eliminations.Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate costing, from raw material flow to fill/finish stages.Evaluate inventory balances, set reserves, and monitor variances to keep financial reporting sharp and actionable.Take ownership of new product costing, standard cost setting, and inventory accuracy across global sites.Maintain robust internal controls in line with SOX and corporate standards, while partnering with auditors.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ERP enhancements, and global finance projects.What you bringStrong background in inventory costing, ideally in a multinational environment.Hands-on experience with SAP (must-have), plus comfort with Hyperion and advanced Excel.Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.Track record of driving process improvements and thriving in fast-paced, complex environments.This opportunity is a 12 month contract, hybrid in Cork.
