We are currently recruiting for a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) in South Kildare / West Wicklow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an established interdisciplinary team supporting children and young people aged 0–18 years with complex needs, in line with the HSE National Programme for Progressing Disability Services. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the Assessment of Need (AON) process within a collaborative, family-centred framework.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and manage a schedule of assessments in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
* Demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills in handling a diverse caseload.
* Apply sound clinical reasoning and decision-making in all areas of practice.
* Respond to challenges with persistence, flexibility, and professionalism.
* Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention, and diagnostic services.
* Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and other professionals.
* Adhere to health and safety standards and operational guidelines, ensuring all equipment is used safely and correctly.
Requirements:
* Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
* Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience (experience with children/young people desirable).
* CORU registration (essential).
* Excellent communication, clinical, and IT skills.
* Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Eligible to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available).
