Job Overview:
A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Construction Health and Safety Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with project managers and contracts teams to implement health and safety policies and procedures
* Develop and maintain comprehensive health and safety plans for each project
* Coordinate health and safety activities on site, including inspections and audits
* Manage health and safety officers and advisors, providing guidance and support as needed
* Investigate accidents and incidents, implementing corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence
* Prepare training programs for employees, focusing on health and safety best practices
Requirements:
* BSc in Health and Safety or equivalent qualification
* 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on health and safety
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
* Full driving license and willingness to travel to site locations
