Finance Governance SpecialistA market leading semi state corporate with an excellent reputationis looking to hire a Finance Governance Specialist to join their centralisedkey control testing function. This role is suited to a qualified accountant whohas good experience and knowledge of best practice in governance, risk andcompliance. The successful candidate will get the opportunity to support thedelivery of the annual key control testing across the group.
Role responsibilities will include:· Delivery of continuous improvement initiativesand various projects within the KCT function· Delivering the KCT programme tobest practice standards.· Responsible for the assessment of controlenvironment, evaluating the business process and understanding the controls,risks and exposures applicable· Reporting on whether key controls are operatingand effective · Provide recommendations for control environmentimprovement as appropriate · Providing assistance and advice in governanceand compliance · Managing relationships with key stakeholders
Requirements· Will hold a professional accountingqualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)· Excellent understanding of best practiceGovernance, Risk and Compliance · Strong auditing skills, ability to identifyissues, root causes and corrective actions · Governance related qualification or training isdesirable· Strong stakeholder management skills· Excellent communication (oral and written)skills · Highly motivated – able to work on owninitiative and as part of a tea
